Weronika Chodakowska's debut album "From Lviv to Paris" includes premiere recordings of piano works by Karol Mikuli. The piano works of Karol Mikuli portray the work of one of Frédéric Chopin’s most important students as a continuator of the maestro’s principles and a composer blessed with his own ingenuity. This recording also takes us back to the Lviv of the second half of the 19th century, where, alongside Chopin’s masterpieces, Mikuli’s now-forgotten works echoed in many a salon, their artistic value still intact today.
